New Zealand M&A Activity Records 33 Deals in the Third Quarter

PwC New Zealand’s report published on 20 October recorded 33 announced M&A deals in the third quarter of 2026, down from 52 in the same quarter of 2025. The report noted that overseas buyers accounted for 52% of deals, creating opportunities for market intelligence, business valuation and cross-border transaction research; the 33 deals represent activity volume, not a single contract value.
