CBRE has agreed to buy London based Onnec Group in a deal worth up to about $1 billion. Onnec installs and maintains the equipment and cabling used inside data centres. The deal shows how the growth of AI is increasing the value of businesses connected to data centre development. HPC can source data centre sites, contractors and specialist infrastructure businesses.
